In-Your-Home Pet and House Sitting Rates

One-time consultation fee (meet you, your pets, sign paperwork, and pick up key) $10
1 pet: $17 per visit
2 pets: $20 per visit
3 pets: $23 per visit
4 or more pets: $26 per visit
Visits are in your home, up to 30 mins. and include: feeding; fresh water; brushing; scoop litter boxes; exercise and play time; take in mail; take in paper; alter lights/blinds for security purposes.

 

 Mid-day Dog Walking Rates

Occasional Mid-day dog walks (1 dog, up to 30 mins.) $17 per walk (Each additional dog $3)

Monthly Service Contract (1 dog) $295 per month (more than 10% savings) must sign a contract for M-F daily dog walks.
Additional dogs can be added for $60 per month.

 

Additional Fees

• Late evening visit (at client’s request after 9 P.M.) add $2 per visit
• Early morning visit (at client’s request before 7 A.M.) add $2 per visit
• Give medications add $2 per visit
• Outdoor plants watered add $2 per visit
• Transport to veterinary appointment $35. Holiday periods* $25 surcharge
• HOLIDAY CHARGE: Pet sitting visits that fall on the following days are subject to a one-time $25 holiday surcharge for that day which is added on to your total invoice. New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
There are many reasons going with a small service like ours might appeal to you. You always know who will be caring for your pet and have access to your house. But because we are a small pet sitting company, there are a few times during the year that we are not available for pet sitting and mid-day dog walks. We try to let our clients know well in advance of our plans so if need be, they may make other arrangements.

 

Business Policies

PAYMENT POLICY
Vacation visits: We require payment in full the day of our first visit with your pets. A signed service agreement along with your payment should be left on the counter for us to pick up. Checks should be made payable to Welcome Waggin’ Professional Pet Sitting. We also accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover. If you wish to pay using a credit card, please fill out the charge slip attached to your service agreement and leave it for us on your counter.

Mid-day service: Monthly dog walking contracts are due prepaid, on the 1st day of the month. A $10 credit will be given on your next month’s invoice for any days in the previous month that your dog’s walk (sick, home from work, snow day, etc.) was cancelled.

CANCELLATIONS
Please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your first scheduled visit. No fee will be charged. If we receive less than 24 hours there will be a charge for one visit at your normal rate. (Repeated cancellations may result in cancellation fees)

For Christmas, we require 10 days notice for cancellations or there will be a charge of 2 visits at your normal rate. If you need to add, subtract or change dates to your service please contact us as early as possible at no extra charge. There will be a charge of $30 on all returned checks

INCLEMENT WEATHER
Icy conditions during scheduled visits may result in a delayed visit. Pet’s with life threatening illnesses and time critical medications will receive priority scheduling.
MID-DAY DOG WALKS: If the schools are closed in your area, mid-day dog walks will be cancelled for the day, and you will not be charged for this day. If you need emergency service on a snow day, please call Welcome Waggin’ by 9AM to request your daily dog walk, weather permitting.

INFORMATION UPDATES
Illnesses, medications and changes in routine are updated regularly in our files. Regular customers please notify Welcome Waggin’ at least one week prior to your departure of any changes to ensure your pet’s proper care.

KEY POLICY
A set of keys must be issued to Welcome Waggin’ upon signing a service agreement. Locks or doors that are not to be used must be specified on your service agreement. It’s a good idea to even tape over locks or doors that should not be used to avoid confusion. Your key, while in our possession, is kept in a locked safe, separate from our client files.

Key return— We offer a READYKEY program and will keep your key in our locked safe for future trips. Or, you may schedule a time to stop by and pick up your keys upon your return. We also offer return of keys by regular mail in a padded envelope ($6 signature on key release statement is required) or a service call to drop off your keys at a time and date specified by client and agreed upon by Welcome Waggin’ ($20 fee)

A Note About Security Systems—Please provide the name and phone number of your alarm company even if it’s not in use. Alarms can malfunction, causing confusion for your pets and also for us if we have no idea who to contact about the problem.
